Aftercare For Brows

Aftercare instructions for nano brows:

Dry Healing Method

During the dry healing process, the scabbing process is allowed to occur naturally. The scabs will form over the pigmented area and will eventually fall off on their own. The dry healing method is said to result in more crisp and defined hair strokes, as the scabs protect the pigmented area from smudging or smearing.

  1. Do not get your brows wet for the first three days after the procedure. This includes showering, sweating, swimming, and avoiding contact with water.

  2. Do not pick, scratch, or rub the treated area as this can cause pigment loss or scarring.

  3. Starting on day four apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment on the treated area twice a day for 7 days to promote healing and prevent scabbing.

  4. Keep the area clean, avoid touching the area and do not use any creams or lotions that contain fragrances, alcohol or peroxide.

  5. Be aware that the color may appear darker and bolder in the first few days, but will soften and lighten during the healing process.

Avoid the following for the next 14 days:

  • Sauna, steam rooms, swimming pools and hot tubs.

  • No makeup on the brow area.

  • Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning.

  • Refrain from using any exfoliating products, such as scrubs, acids and retinols.

  • Avoid botox in the forhead area.

Permanent makeup is intended to fade up to 50% lighter after 7 days.

Wet Healing Method

Wet healing method can be beneficial for clients who are prone to bleeding during the permanent makeup procedure.

During the wet healing process, the area is kept moist by applying a thin layer of aftercare ointment or moisturizer to the treated area several times a day. This helps to prevent scabbing and promote faster healing. The idea is that by keeping the area moisturized, it will help the skin heal faster, and the color will appear softer and more natural.

  2. Apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment or moisturizer to the treated area.

  4. Avoid activities that may cause the ointment to rub off, such as sweating or swimming. Also, avoid exposing the treated area to sun, tanning beds, and avoid picking or scratching the area.

  5. Follow-up appointments: Attend any follow-up appointments, to evaluate the healing process and make any necessary adjustments.
